CONTENT ASSISTANT - FREELANCER

Ad Astra Agency is a boutique social media agency working with purpose-driven luxury fashion and lifestyle brands. We deliver elevated, content-led social content with soul - and we're growing. We’re now looking for a freelance Content Assistant to help us expand our creative output and stay on top of our client deliverables. This is a key support role for someone who thrives on beautiful visuals, social trends, and detailed execution. This is an amazing opportunity to be extremely hands-on in a small business, and to be a part of a fun and enthusiastic team. You'll have the opportunity to grow with a rapidly growing business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support client delivery by preparing visual content for posting through editing, designing and scheduling content (Reels, posts, stories, TikToks, Pinterest pins)

  • Repurpose content (e.g., client shoots → create usable assets or repurpose for trends)

  • Preparing creative decks, visual layouts, etc.

  • Assist on photoshoots, creating Reels / TikTok videos, and video for Stories

  • Assist on shoots across London

  • Organize and archive visual assets (Google Drive)

  • Assist on the creation of in-depth social media reports for clients

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 1–3 years experience in social content creation, editing, and creative production

  • Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite (or similar editing tools)

  • Familiarity with scheduling platforms (Planoly, Later etc)

  • Strong visual eye - especially for luxury aesthetics

  • Up to date with TikTok/IG best practices and trends

  • Organized and detail-oriented 

  • Fluent in English

  • A can-do and enthusiastic attitude attitude will thrive
    Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with luxury brands

  • Familiarity with project tools such as Notion

  • Passion for photography or video production / editing is a bonus (please incl. Examples of your work)

  • French-speaking (not a requirement, but useful for one of our client projects)


LOCATION: we mostly work remote - but we do ask that the applicant be London-based, as we require your presence on shoots and occasionally meetings too.
